Increase to the MRSP maximum threshold

Here is a summary of the conditions governing eligibility for the Roulez vert rebate for new electric vehicles.

Eligible applicants

The participant must be:

An individual residing in Québec
A company registered with Registraire des entreprises, a municipality or a public body established in Québec

Conditions regarding the vehicle

To be eligible for the rebate, the new vehicle must:

Be included on the list of eligible vehicles on this website
Have been acquired in Canada, have been registered in Québec for the first time and never have been registered outside Québec
Have been purchased or be subject to a long-term lease (twelve months or more)
Have been sold at a manufacturer’s suggested retail price less than $60,000

Moreover, the vehicle must be registered in the applicant's name.

List of eligible new vehicles

Demonstration vehicles used by car dealers may also be eligible under the program upon their resale.

Purchase or Lease

Electric vehicle rebates are also available for long-term leases.

The amount of the rebate is calculated based on the term of the lease, which must be at least 12 months. A 48-month or longer lease gives the lessee the right to a rebate equal to the purchase rebate.

Three electric vehicles in the same year

If you wish, in the same year, to file a rebate application for three all-electric or plug-in hybrid vehicles, each vehicle must have been registered in Québec for at least 36 months.
If the vehicles were not purchased but were leased from a car dealer, the lease period for each vehicle must be at least 36 months.
