Demonstration vehicles used by car dealers may also be eligible under the program upon their resale.
Electric vehicle rebates are also available for long-term leases.
The amount of the rebate is calculated based on the term of the lease, which must be at least 12 months. A 48-month or longer lease gives the lessee the right to a rebate equal to the purchase rebate.
If you wish, in the same year, to file a rebate application for three all-electric or plug-in hybrid vehicles, each vehicle must have been registered in Québec for at least 36 months.
If the vehicles were not purchased but were leased from a car dealer, the lease period for each vehicle must be at least 36 months.
