The Québec government is offering individuals, businesses, organization and Québec municipalities a rebate on the purchase or lease of a new electric vehicle.
Please consult the detailed list of eligible new vehicles to determine the exact amount of the rebate for the vehicle models you are interested in.
The amount of the rebate depends on the type of vehicle and conditions such as the vehicle’s selling price, electric battery capacity, model year, year of purchase, etc. The vehicle must also be included on the list of eligible new vehicles.
The date of registration of the vehicle and not the date of purchase or order is used to determine the amount of the rebate.
Notice - The manufacturer’s suggested retail price (MSRP) maximum threshold for vehicle eligibility for the Roulez vert program will be increased from $60,000 to $65,000 in the near future. For more information

The federal government also provides a grant for the purchase or lease of a new electric vehicle of up to $5,000.

The Roulez vert program was officially launched on January 1, 2012.
Please note that the Roulez vert program will remain in effect until the budget allocated for the program is completely exhausted or until such time as the Government decides to terminate it, with or without notice. The government specifies the amounts allocated to the program in its budget plans and economic statements.
The Gouvernement du Québec announced that rebates for new or used electric vehicles will be revised downwards with the tabling of the 2022-2023 Budget. The program was also extended until 2026-2027.
